Scott Alan - Bass
Scott Alan hails from Western Massachusetts, The home of many great bands and musicians.
Scott started on the guitar at
the age of 13. One day at about the age of 17 or 18 he was asked to try the bass
in a band he was in, because the band couldn't find one, and no one wanted to
play the bass. So the rest is history! Scott was very inspired by great
fusion jazz players as he was discovering the bass as an instrument, Stanley
Clark, Jaco, John Patatucci, Nathan East, Jeff Berlin etc. Scott was also
inspired by the great rock player's like John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee, Billy
Sheehan, and Stu Ham. Scott has been in bands all over the United States and
Europe. He has toured, recorded, written, played, loved, drank, and had his
heart broken, but he still plays (because I love it and just can’t stop). Scott
has always had an incredible connection with music and an intense love for music
as a child and into the rest of his life.
Scott plays Ernie Ball basses, Gallien Krueger amplification, Ampeg SVT 8-10 and a Peavey TVX 4-10 cab. |
